We have created this scholarship fund in Honor of Mike Skridulis, a graduate of EC Goodwin Technical School. Mike loved working as an inspector, machinist and set up technician and took great pride in his work. We are sharing that pride by providing a scholarship for a graduate of EC Goodwin Technical School so they may further their education in manufacturing.

All who knew Mike said he was the most loving and giving person they knew. He truly believed in giving back. Mike was a member of the Southington Jaycees for many years, and had the distinction of being honored as Jaycee of the Year twice, acquiring multiple awards and plaques for his dedicated efforts, time and talents.

Most of all Mike loved his family and friends. He had a special place in his heart for all the people in his life, passing on his infectious laughter, lots of love and his amazing joy for life.

Mike believed in going above and beyond in life. He fought a very courageous 9 year battle with cancer, filled with determination, laughter and always hope.

We want to remember Mike and honor him for all his good deeds and hope that our future generation will follow in his footsteps, take pride in their work, volunteering and giving back to the community and to simply enjoy life.
